Pedal Board
A Project From 2026
AT THE END OF 2025, I once again fell victim to a combination of Black Friday sales and GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome). I bought a few more Eurorack modules — a few more than my existing case could accommodate, so I decided to build a new, larger case (documented here). One thing I refuse to do, however, is expand the overall workspace for my collection of synthesizer crap. It’s the one limitation that keeps my spending from going completely off the rails. And that workspace is pretty full, so a new, larger Eurorack case necessitated getting rid of something else.
The first stand I built to hold synth stuff was a two tier design. It took up a fair amount of space. I considering chopping it down in some fashion to a one tier stand, but decided it would be easier to just make a new, smaller stand. I’m calling it a pedal board because it mostly serves to support guitar pedals. It has a little extra room, so I place the Sn synthesizer on it, as well.
The stand consists of laser cut 10° angled supports, a lipped poplar shelf and (of course) a threaded rod. The supports are plenty sturdy on their own so in this case, the threaded rod is pretty much ornamental.
