Wood Stand for a Crummy Monitor

THE FANCY CLOSET has been through a few computer monitors. The last time a monitor died, it was replaced with the cheapest one I could find. It works, but it’s not a great monitor in any way, and the most annoying characteristic was its flimsy stand that refused to hold the monitor level.
For a somewhat OCD-afflicted person like me, this was an almost unbearable situation, but even I couldn’t bring myself to buy another monitor just because this one sat a little crooked. Wood and threaded rods to the rescue.
