Speaker Stands
A Project From 2020
OUR HOME THEATER is old-school by today’s standards. It’s a 5.1 system with two front speakers, a center speaker, a subwoofer and two side/rear speakers. The side/rear speakers are mounted on custom stands made from poplar, ¼ inch birch plywood and extendable steel poles poached from inexpensive commercial speaker stands. Originally, I had intended to use the commercial stands as-is, but my particular speakers made them too top-heavy. The custom stands have wider and more substantial bases.
